Terms of Service

1. The service

ConsultisMed is a clinic management application provided by Significado Lógico Lda., made available as a service (SaaS) at app.consultismed.online, with its own Patient Portal and mobile apps. Access is via a Microsoft account; each clinic operates isolated from the data of other client clinics.

2. Accounts and access

• Access is personal — you must not share your Microsoft account credentials with third parties.
• Permissions within the application are assigned by the clinic's own administrators.
• The clinic is responsible for keeping the list of people with access up to date and for deactivating the accounts of anyone who leaves the team.

3. Responsibility for clinical data

The clinic is responsible for the patient data it enters into ConsultisMed — for its accuracy, for having a legal basis to process it (namely the patient's consent, where applicable) and for complying with its own professional and legal obligations. Significado Lógico Lda. acts as a data processor for this data, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

By using ConsultisMed, you agree not to:

• Use the application for unlawful purposes or to enter data you are not entitled to process.
• Attempt to access other clinics' data, circumvent the permission mechanisms or compromise the security of the service.
• Deliberately overload the infrastructure (e.g., abusive automation, denial-of-service attacks).
• Copy, resell or sublicense the service without written authorization.

5. Licenses and plans

Access to ConsultisMed is subject to a license associated with the clinic, with a contracted number of seats and/or users. Commercial details (plans, pricing, billing) are agreed directly with Significado Lógico Lda. and are not part of these general terms.

6. Electronic invoicing and payments

When enabled, electronic invoicing is issued through the integration with Moloni, under the clinic's own tax responsibility. Online payments for consultations made through the Patient Portal are processed by our partner EuPago; Significado Lógico Lda. does not have access to card data and does not hold funds.

7. Service availability

We make a reasonable effort to keep the service available and to give advance notice of planned maintenance, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Occasional interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates or causes beyond our control.

8. Intellectual property

ConsultisMed, its code, design and brand are the property of Significado Lógico Lda. Nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to the clinic or its users — you are granted only the right to use the service, as described herein.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Significado Lógico Lda. is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or loss of data resulting from misuse of the service, third-party failures (Microsoft, Moloni, EuPago) or force majeure. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be legally limited, namely liability arising from willful misconduct or gross negligence.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account's access in the event of breach of these terms, non-payment, or at the clinic's own decision to end the subscription. Upon termination, the clinic may request the export of its data within a reasonable period before permanent deletion.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page; material changes will be communicated to each clinic's administrators.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Significado Lógico Lda.'s registered office, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
